Attempted murder arrest after man stabbed in Birmingham street
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after another man was stabbed in Handsworth, Birmingham.
West Midlands Police said officers acting on a tip-off have arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident in Gibson Road on Saturday. (July 26)
The 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery and remains in custody for questioning.
The force said the injured man is in his 20s and remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
