There was major disruption on the M6 during rush hour on Wednesday evening.

A stranded vehicle caused the traffic on the northbound carriageway between Junction 6 and Junction 7 for Great Barr.
Drivers were urged to allow extra time for their journeys, with queues reportedly stretching back beyond Junction 5.
