Man dies in Birmingham house blaze
A man has died after a fire ripped through his home in Birmingham.

Paramedics and firefighters were called to Jockey Road, in Wylde Green, Sutton Coldfield, at 10.28pm on Monday.
The man, who was rescued from the blaze, was found in a critical condition, with paramedics trying to administer advanced live support.
Despite their best efforts he was confirmed dead at the scene a short time later.
An ambulance, two paramedics officers, a MERIT trauma doctor, and a critical care paramedic all attended the scene.
A spokeswoman for the West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "Fire service colleagues rescued one patient, a man, from the property who was in a critical condition.
"Ambulance staff worked as a team to administer advanced life support to the man but sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed deceased a short time later."
