New video footage has shown the destruction caused by a 'significant blaze' at a commercial property on Great Bridge Street, Great Bridge, at around 10am yesterday (July 27).

More than 100 firefighters, 20 fire engines and six other supporting West Midlands Fire Service vehicles attended the fire at the GB Tyres and Tracking building, which involved more than 20 tonnes of rubber tyres.

The fire service said four factory units were involved in the fire, with one building experiencing a 'partial collapse'.
