Krispy Kreme recall 2026 World Cup-themed sweet treats due to allergy concern

The treats may pose a risk to anyone with a nut allergy.

Krispy Kreme have recalled their 2026 World Cup-themed sweet treats due to an allergy concern.

The doughnut retailer, which has locations in Merry Hill, Birmingham and Telford, have issued a recall for the Individual Pitch Perfect Doughnut and Match Day Dozen with the best before dates June 21 and 22, 2026.

The products would have been sold between June 19 and 21.

This is due to concerns that the products may contain hazelnuts, which could pose a health risk to those with a nut allergy.

A spokesperson for Trading Standards said: “Krispy Kreme is recalling the above products from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.

“The company has also issued a recall notice to its customers. If you have bought the above products and have an allergy to hazelnuts (nuts), do not eat them. Instead, return the products to the store you purchased them from for a full refund (with or without a receipt).”
