No further coronavirus deaths confirmed in Black Country, Birmingham or Staffordshire
No further coronavirus deaths have been confirmed in hospitals across the Black Country, Birmingham or Staffordshire.

NHS figures showed there had been no increase – meaning the death toll still stands at 2,580 in hospitals in the areas.
In England, a further 23 people who tested positive for the virus in hospitals have died – bringing the total to 29,808. The patients were aged between 69 and 96. All had known underlying health conditions and died between August 14 and September 22. Their families have been informed.
The death toll at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the Queen Elizabeth, Good Hope, Heartlands and Solihull hospitals, takes the death toll there to 987.

At the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, which runs New Cross and Cannock Chase hospitals, a total of 288 Covid-19 patients have died and 230 people have died at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust, which runs Walsall Manor.
In Staffordshire, 355 people have died at the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust which runs the major hospitals in Stafford and Stoke.
A total of 384 people have died at Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs City and Sandwell General hospitals.
A further 701 coronavirus deaths have been reported across care homes in the Black Country, Birmingham or Staffordshire.
Of these, 71 have been in Wolverhampton, 99 in Walsall, 59 in Dudley, 50 in Sandwell, 193 in Birmingham and 229 in Staffordshire.
The latest care home death happened on September 14 in Wolverhampton.
