Black Country Christmas babies: Festive new arrivals at hospitals bring delight to parents and families
Black Country babies gave their parents a Christmas present they will never forget when they arrived today.
There was joy in the early hours of Christmas Day as baby Toby gave mum and dad an unexpected present.
Proud mum and dad Emily and Jason Gallear, from Cannock, have had to change their seasonal plans slightly to accommodate their first baby, who was due to be born on December 16. Emily was induced on Monday at Wolverhampton's New Cross Hospital and labour started last night.

Toby was finally born at 1.50am on Christmas Day, weighing 7lb 14oz.
He was the first new arrival of Christmas Day at New Cross, and Emily said: "The support we received at the hospital was wonderful and it's special that Toby was born on Christmas Day - it’s a nice story to tell him when he’s older!
