Compton Care has been celebrating the one-year anniversary of its Compton’s Cafe, located at the Codsall Community Hub, which is the home of South Staffordshire Council.

Compton’s Cafe is a popular spot for hub visitors and staff alike, offering a varied and tasty menu including hearty cooked breakfasts, grab-and-go sandwiches, daily specials, and an assortment of delicious cakes.

Proceeds from the cafe contribute to the specialist palliative and bereavement support that Compton Care provides to patients living with life-limiting conditions and support for their families.

To mark this milestone and thank loyal customers and hub tenants, the cafe team hosted a birthday event on Thursday (August 14) featuring celebratory cakes and exclusive birthday offers.

Tom Keen, Compton’s catering services manager, said: “It’s hard to believe it’s been a whole year since Compton’s Cafe officially opened.

"It’s been a fantastic 12 months and we’re incredibly proud to be part of the vibrant Codsall Community Hub and contribute to the specialist care that Compton Care provides to patients in our community living with life limiting conditions.

“To mark our one-year anniversary, we wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful customers and tenants here at the hub.

"We came together for celebratory cakes and had an exclusive birthday offer for our customers. It was lovely to chat to everyone and celebrate this fabulous first year together.”
