Lillie-Bea, 10, braves the shave for charity
A Black Country schoolgirl has braved the shave to raise funds for a clinical support charity.
Lillie-Bea Hicks from Kinver had her head shaved as part of a fundraising campaign for Compton Care.
The 10-year-old, who goes to Brindley Heath Junior Academy, had the head shaving done at Her's & Sir's in Kinver and spoke about why she had decided to get her head shaved.
She said: "I had been wanting to get my head shaved for a while now, but decided to do it for a purpose.

"It was while looking up charities to do it for that I found Compton Care as I like what they do to help children who have lost their parents to cancer.
"I also think it could really inspire children my age to do something like this and I hope they do as it would make me cry with happiness."
Her father Kevin Hicks said Lillie-Bea was always looking to help others and would come back from school talking about wanting to help others.
He also said he and Lillie-Bea's mother Jodie were very proud of her for doing something like this for charity.

He said: "I'm such a proud dad at the moment as this is the typical thing that she does for others.
"She said she wanted to raise the money to help Compton Care continue the good work they were doing and I think this will be the beginning of a lot of different charity things by her.
"I think it's a wonderful thing that she's doing and I think if other children are inspired by it, they should do it too."
Kevin said she had been looking to raise £300, but had passed that target and was now looking at more than £500, with the hairdressers donating £100 to her after the head shave.
