Norovirus breaks out on two Stafford Hospital wards
Norovirus has broken out on two wards at Stafford Hospital. Visitors were today being urged to stay at home following the outbreak of the winter vomiting bug.

The wards affected are women's health and the trauma and orthopaedic ward.
Suzanne Banks, director of nursing and midwifery, said: "We know that sometimes visitors feel they must take every opportunity to visit sick friends or relatives.
"However, if they themselves have been unwell they could be putting others at risk, so we are advising that they stay at home for 48 hours."
