Reliant Windows Continues Landmark Project at Birmingham Children’s Hospital

 Reliant Windows, a leading Midlands installer of windows and doors, today announced it is moving forward with the second phase of a transformational project at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

This prestigious scheme is a key part of the hospital's 'It Starts Here' appeal and is being completed in collaboration with main contractor BSN Group Construction.

Following the successful completion of the first phase, which included enabling works for the main entrance, Reliant Windows is proud to continue its contribution. The initial phase involved the installation of standard, arched, and fire-rated dual-colour aluminium windows and secondary glazing.

The company is now providing and installing aluminium curtain walling, automatic doors, and substantial rooflights for the hospital’s brand-new front entrance and lobby area.

The new entrance is envisioned by the hospital as the ‘new heart’ of the facility - a welcoming, bright, and child-friendly space designed to reduce fear and anxiety for young patients and their families. A standout feature will be a 2,200-litre aquarium, serving as a ‘jewel in the crown’ of the new lobby.
