In 2022, Ofsted graded The Link Academy as good in all areas. Since then, the academy has continued to excel, earning recognition for its award-winning gold standard careersprovision, highly effective learner-centered approaches, and excellent behaviour standards.

The ethos of 'Rewarding Effort is integral to the academy operations, embedding the mantra 'Hard Work Beats Talent'  in its learners. This approach fosters a robust work ethic, enhancing learners' skills, knowledge, and abilities, helping them reach their full potential regardless of their background or starting points.

Over the past six years, The Link Academy has demonstrated consistent progress, now standing consistently at or above the national average. Notably, there has been a significant improvement in the percentage of learners achieving a Grade 5 and above in English andmathematics. The academy takes pride in these achievements and remains dedicated toproviding learners with the best post-16 opportunities, whether that be college, apprenticeships, or other career paths. The academy core values underscore the belief that every child has the potential to succeed.

Significant investments have been made in The Link Academy's learning environment. Recent upgrades include state-of-the-art refurbishments of the science labs and food technology room, along with the installation of new computers, software, 3D printers, andlaser cutters. These enhancements ensure learners have the best opportunities to explore new subjects, discover new ambitions, and achieve their full potential.

The Link Academy's Open Evening will take place on Thursday, September 25th, from 17:30 to 20:00. Principal welcome talks are scheduled for 17:45 and 18:45. In addition, tours during the day will be available to book.
