Latest aerial pictures show the walls are going up at pace at the Encyclis Walsall Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) which is continuing to take shape following the completion of initial groundworks at the site in Fryers Road, Beechdale on the Walsall-Bloxwich boundary.

Now the developers are poised to begin pressure testing, to be carried out by Hampshire-based clean waste company Kanadevia Inova which has links to Japan and Switzerland.

The waste bunker has been built and mechanical installation is well under way. The latest video provides a bird's eye view of the ground clearance, the towering white crane, nearby businesses and homes, and the Wyrley & Essington Canal aimed to highlight the scale of the multi-million pound development.
