Cars were covered in African dust

A blanket of dust covered cars and windows following rainfall overnight.

Mixed in the rain was dust that currently hangs high in the atmosphere.

The dust has covered across across the area including Stourbridge, Kingswinford, Wolverhampton and Telford.

The dust has been brought north over the UK from Africa as an air mass from the south pushes from warmer climes. When rain falls, it brings with it that dust, creating a mess when it falls.
