Engine is ripped from car in Bearwood crash
An engine was ripped from a car in a serious crash in Bearwood.

The driver of the VW was lucky to walk away with only minor injuries after the car ended up against a takeaway in Three Shires Oak Road.
The car suffered major damage after hitting another VW, with its front end left caved in.

A tweet from Ladywood Fire Station said the driver was saved from further injury by his seat belt.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene in the early hours of yesterday morning as debris from the cars was left strewn over the road.

The impact was so severe the engine from the black VW ended up on the road away from the vehicle. Both drivers suffered minor injuries.
