Man, 94, declared dead after car smashes into house
A 94-year-old man has died after the car he was driving crashed into a house near Stafford today, police have announced.

The silver Jaguar XJS ploughed into the front of the property in The Green, Brocton at about 11.15am.
The man, who is from the Brocton area, died at the scene, Staffordshire Police have said.
They are appealing for witnesses to call 101.
Police spokeswoman Hazel Dockery said the man's family has been informed and specially trained officers are offering them support.
Formal identification has not yet taken place and the road remains closed while investigations are carried out.
