Man injured after being hit by car in Cradley Heath

A man is today in hospital after being struck by a car in Cradley Heath.

Firefighters from Cradley Heath and Oldbury had to free the casualty who was trapped under the car in Halesowen Road at about 12.45am.

The man is believed to be in his 20s and is thought to have suffered pelvic and facial injuries.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.
