Woman suffers head injuries in Walsall quad bike crash
A woman suffered a serious head injury after crashing on a quad bike in Bloxwich.
She was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham after being found unconscious following the accident in High Street.
The woman also suffered a fractured leg and pelvis injury following the collision at around 9pm last night.
Another female, also believed to be on the bike, suffered a more minor head injury and cuts and was taken to Walsall Manor Hospital.
West Midlands Police said officers on their way to an emergency call came across the crash on Bloxwich High Street.
Two ambulances, a responder paramedic, a paramedic area support officer and a MERIT trauma doctor attended the scene.
West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman Claire Brown said: "One woman sustained a serious head injury, a fractured leg and suspected pelvic injuries and was unconscious at the scene."
