Police launch search as Cannock man goes missing

A man has gone missing from his Cannock home, sparking a police hunt.

Staffordshire Police are appealing to the public for help in finding Lee Wilson who is described as vulnerable.

The 38-year-old, of Pye Green Road, was reported missing four days ago and despite a widespread search he has not been found.

Mr Wilson is white, 6ft 3in tall, with a large build and shaven hair. He is believed to be wearing tracksuit bottoms and has a brown jacket and a black fleece with him.The last confirmed sighting of him was in Blackpool on June 22.

Staffordshire Police spokeswoman Faye Casey said: "We consider Mr Wilson to be vulnerable and we are concerned for his welfare.

"Extensive searches are under way to locate him and we are liaising closely with colleagues in Lancashire following the last confirmed sighting of Mr Wilson in Blackpool."
