Team of 20 fight to save bull in canal
Around 20 firefighters battled for three hours to rescue a bull weighing almost a ton from a Staffordshire canal.

The two-year-old animal got stuck after slipping into the water while having a cooling drink in the sunshine and could not get back out.
Fire crews from Stafford, Cannock and Newcastle-under-Lyme, a specialist animal rescue team and boat crew were called to the scene at Maple Wood, Wildwood, Stafford at around 12.15pm yesterday.
