Family flees from smoke-filled Walsall home
A family-of-seven fled their smoke-filled home in Walsall after being woken by the fire alarm early today.

The parents rounded up their children, aged from two to 13, who were all sleeping, and led the them to safety outside.
Firefighters were alerted to the address in Tewkesbury Road, Bloxwich, at 12.30am and found the family huddled in the family car.
Bloxwich watch commander Richard Cooper said the alarms had potentially saved their lives.
The smouldering fire had started in the kitchen after a pan containing oil had been left switched on.
The family were checked over by paramedics but were unharmed.
