Man taken to hospital after cars crash in Smethwick
A man was taken to hospital following a two car smash in Smethwick.

Fire crews were called to the crash on Middlemore Road at 7.49pm yesterday.
The male driver of a white Skoda was trapped in the car by his injuries as a result of the crash.
Fire crews from Smethwick had to remove the back seats from the car using cutting equipment, and paramedics then removed him from the car via the boot.
He was suffering from neck and back pain and was taken to hospital. The male driver of the other car was uninjured.
Police closed the road for about 30 minutes following the crash.
