Women escape injury as car crashes into lamp post in Wednesbury

Three women escaped uninjured when the car they were in crashed into a lamp post at a car gathering.

Crowds looked on in shock after the crash involving a blue Ford Focus RS in Hallens Drive, in Wednesbury, at 8pm last night.

One resident drove to the fire station in King Street directly to raise the alarm.

The three, all in their 20s, were unharmed but were treated at the scene for shock.
