'We'll be here to give them all the support that they need' - Walsall school launches National Lottery-funded community hub to help people learn valuable life skills

An academy in Walsall has opened a new community hub that they hope will serve local people in a variety of different ways.

Field Road Academy in Bloxwich, Walsall were able to build the hub on their site thanks to a £20,000 fund from the National Lottery and their 'Good Causes' campaign.

The school say the hub will offer a new, quiet place for parents to gather and spend time chatting over a hot drink, as well as providing the school with a safe space to teach workshops on a variety of like skills to people from the local community.
