15 amazing photos of the new Wolverhampton College campus ahead of the grand autumn opening
The new £61 million campus for Wolverhampton College in the city centre is looking new, shiny and ready to welcome students in the autumn.
The first, second and third floors of the multi-educational complex in the centre of Wolverhampton were handed over to college chiefs on Tuesday, along with the hair-and-beauty salon on the ground floor.
The final fit-out process has begun as the college gets ready to open the new campus to students in November, marking a new era for the college.
Constructor McLaughlin & Harvey is continuing works on the remainder of the ground floor, which will gradually be handed over to the college over the coming weeks.
Situated around the Old Hall Street and St George’s Parade area, including the former ABC cinema on the corner of Garrick Street and Bilston Street, the eye-catching development also incorporates the college's existing Metro One building.
