The 15 best primary schools in the Black Country and Staffordshire ranked by reading, writing and maths
We reveal which schools from across the region have been recognised by a national ranking as the best in the Black Country and Staffordshire.
With changes having been made to the way schools have been rated, including Ofsted no longer publishing single-word ratings, parents have been looking at other ways to find out what schools are the best to send their children to.
The Telegraph has aimed to help parents through creating a new primary school league table for 2025, using data from the 2023/24 academic year and a 40-point scoring system built of 10 key indicators.
These included scoring on Key Stage 2 test, comparisons with the average for local authorities, whether the school was oversubscribed, the size of classes and the percentage of truancy for each school.
We've taken a look at the rankings and can reveal the top 15 schools from across the Black Country and Staffordshire based on the 40-point scoring system.
