Stafford Grammar School students blow up for last day prank
A music teacher saw the funny side when his sixth form students decided to play a prank before beginning their study leave.
Gavin Lamplough, director of music at Stafford Grammar School, arrived at work to find his office filled with 1,000 balloons.
A group of five pupils spent four hours blowing up the balloons the evening before their prank.
Student Molly Darley, 18 from Seighford, said: "It has become a bit of a tradition now to play a prank on the day before we go for study leave.
"The previous year, his office was filled with sticky notes and we thought we would go one better.
"He couldn't even get into the office without taking a good amount of balloons out so it definitely worked for us. I knew he would take it well, he is a lovely teacher and we are all a close group so it was great fun."
