Coseley School consultation to close at midnight

A public consultation about the future of Coseley School will finish at midnight tonight.

It will see the fate of the school, which has 557 pupils, hopefully decided by council bosses next month.

The consultation period started in February.

Parents and pupils staged public protests outside council meetings and quizzed leaders during debates over the issue of the proposed closure, following the announcement in January.

It comes as around 1,900 parents have also signed a petition.
