West Bromwich school closed after water pipe bursts
A school was forced to close today after a main water pipe burst.

Students at George Salter Academy in West Bromwich were told not to go in today after a water main inside the school ruptured last night.
The school in Claypit Lane, which has 914 pupils, uploaded a warning message to their website this morning and also tweeted students to let them know about the closure.
Alternative arrangements for Year 11 students are currently being investigated by the school and they have promised that students and their parents will be notified via text message once arrangements are made.
