A Bloxwich charity is to run an open day to promote and enrol learners on to free training courses to support unemployed adults who want to get back into work.

Bloxwich Community Partnership will be starting the free courses in March for adults aged 19 and over who are unemployed. The training will help to develop their confidence in searching for a job and developing their job-seeking skills, as well as offering the chance to improve their English, Maths and IT skills.

Sue Harvey, Centre Manager at The Electric Palace has said, " this is a fabulous opportunity for the local community to access free training, as it is so rare these days, we would encourage people of all ages to come along and see what we are offering."

An open day for the free training courses is being held on Thursday, February 23, 2012, from 10am-5pm, at The Electric Palace, at their new premises on Elmore Row, Bloxwich, Walsall, next to the market car park. For more information drop-in or call on 01922 477499.
