Date when Wolverhampton's free outdoor pool will open - and it's sooner than you may think
The date has been unveiled on when Wolverhampton’s free outdoor pool will open.
Tettenhall Pool, the popular free outdoor paddling pool, located in the scenic village area of Tettenhall, Wolverhampton will be opening very soon.
The City of Wolverhampton Council has confirmed to the Express & Star when it will re-open.
It will be re-opening very soon after water safety checks were carried out.
Not only is there a paddling pool but there are also other activities to enjoy at East Park including treetop towers, roundabouts, seesaws, wet-pour tunnels, firefighters pole, rockers, springers and bucket and rope swings.

The council has been filling up the pool in recent weeks and it has confirmed that the pool will be back open on Saturday 23 May.
This means it will be open for the May bank holiday - and will be the perfect spot to cool off this weekend as temperatures are expected to soar.
There could be highs of up to 30C across the West Midlands this week, so Tettenhall Pool is reopening at the perfect time.
It will be busy at the pool as it is highly popular and a very family-friendly destination, so it is best to get there early.
Councillor Qaiser Azeem said: “I’m very pleased to say that Tettenhall Pool and East Park splash play will reopen on Saturday (23 May) ahead of the Spring Bank Holiday – and it looks like there’s some good weather forecast too.
“It is a real asset to have two excellent water play areas in the city and we’ve been working to make sure both of these popular attractions are ready and safe for residents to enjoy. We hope the weather will give plenty of opportunities for children and families to make the most of the water facilities.
“We would encourage visitors to wear appropriate clothing and footwear, and to come prepared with hats and sunscreen during warmer weather.”
Councillor Azeem added: “We also remind everyone to be considerate of nearby residents when visiting, to dispose of litter responsibly, and, if bringing a dog, to keep them under control, on a lead, and out of the water.”
