Man arrested after attack in Wolverhampton leaves victim in serious condition in hospital
A man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding after another man was attacked in Wolverhampton city centre last night.
A man in his 60s was discovered with serious injuries in Dudley Street at just before 7.25pm on Wednesday.
He remains in a serious condition in hospital.
Officers were on patrol in the area and arrested a 63-year-old man shortly after the attack.
He is currently in custody for questioning.
A scene remains in place while West Midlands Police officers carry out enquiries to establish the full circumstances.
