Man charged following robberies and violent assaults in Walsall and Wolverhampton
A man has been charged following three robberies and two violent assaults in Walsall and Wolverhampton.
Gurkirat Singh, aged 32, from Bloxwich, was remanded to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Tuesday, March 17 for a first hearing.
Singh is charged with three counts of robbery, two charges of wounding with intent and a charge of possession of a bladed weapon in public.

The first robbery took place on March 11 when a woman was attacked and robbed while walking down Redhouse Street in Walsall.
The second took place on March 12 when a man was also attacked and robbed on the same road.
The third incident took place on March 15 when a woman was attacked and robbed on Stratton Street, Wolverhampton.
All three victims were elderly and received non life-threatening injuries.
