Man, 33, arrested following Counter Terrorism Police operation in Birmingham
A 33-year-old man from the West Midlands has been arrested following a pre-planned Counter Terrorism policing operation.
The man was detained from an address in Saltley, Birmingham on suspicion of supporting a proscribed organisation.
He is currently in custody for questioning.
A statement from West Midlands Police read: "Action Counters Terrorism. If you’ve seen or heard something that doesn’t seem right, trust your instincts and report to police in confidence at gov.uk/ACT."
