BMW stolen at knifepoint in Dudley - appeal launched after one suspect bailed

Police appeal after a man was threatened and had his car stolen from him during robbery that took place last month.

West Midlands Police has launched an appeal after a man was 'threatened' and had his car stolen from him during a robbery in Dudley. 

The robbery took place on February 17 at around 7.40pm. 

The man was threatened with a knife while sat in his parked grey BMW on Sycamore Green. The suspects demanded that the victim exited the vehicle. He was then chased away by a further group of suspects. 

The robbery suspects then drove off in the vehicle. It’s believed they were both dressed in all black with gloves and face coverings.

One suspect is described as around 17 years old, around 5ft 5ins tall and large build.

A second suspect is described as slim build, around 5ft 9ins tall and 18 years old. 

Police have made a number of enquires and reviewing CCTV footage and tracking vehicles. A 27-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of robbery and has since been bailed.

Officers want more help from the public about the incident as part of their ongoing investigation.
