Here are some of the latest sentences handed down at Wolverhampton Crown Court and other local justice centres, covering March 9-15.
Shane Davis, aged 36, of HMP Dovegate; and Lauren Leese, aged 30, of Trentham
Offence: Unauthorised access to computer material in 2024
Sentence: 12 months in prison, concurrent with current sentence, for Davis; 12 months in prison, suspended for 18 months, for Leese
Mikel Hasani, aged 29, formerly of Wolverhampton
Offences: Production of cannabis, possession of a knife and breach of a sexual harm prevention order
Sentence: Three years in prison; forfeiture and destruction of drugs, paraphernalia, weapons and a phone
Aaron Kainth, aged 24, of Wolverhampton
Offences: Arranging or facilitating commission of a child sex offence; attempting to cause a female child aged under 13 to engage in sexual activity; attempting to cause a child under 13 to look at an image of sexual activity; two counts of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child in 2025
Sentence: Four years and nine months in prison
Andrew Slocombe, aged 33, of St John's Road in Tipton
Offence: Causing unnecessary suffering to animals in October 2024
Sentence: 10-year ban from owning pets; 30 rehabilitation activity days
Christ Lidiu, aged 26, of Bridgelands Way, Perry Barr; and Exauce Mazebo, aged 24, of New Heart Road, West Bromwich
