Have you seen this man? CCTV image released after £3,500 e-bike stolen from Staffordshire railway station
An image of a man police say they want to speak to in connection with an e-bike theft has been released.
British Transport Police has released an image from CCTV footage at Stafford station following the theft on February 10, which saw a man use bolt cutters to remove an e-bike from the cycle hub.
The force said he was seen boarding a train, before exiting at Lichfield Trent Valley station, and has asked for anyone with any information to come forward.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: "Officers investigating an e-bike theft from Stafford railway station in February have released this image in connection.
"At 6.40pm on Tuesday, February 10, a man entered the station’s cycle hub and pulled a pair of bolt cutters out of his bag.

"Using the bolt cutters, he then removed an e-bike worth £3,500 from the cycle hub and boarded a train with it. He later left the train at Lichfield Trent Valley railway station.
"Officers believe the man in the image may have information that could help their investigation.
"Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 2600018477.
"Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
