Birmingham man charged with murder after man found dead at a Staffordshire railway station
A 27-year-old man from Birmingham has been charged with murder after a man died at Tamworth railway station.
Dylan Fitzpatrick, from Birmingham, was found unresponsive at the station car park in the early hours of Sunday (8 March).
Officers from Staffordshire Police were called to Victoria Road at around 2.20am following reports of a man being found unresponsive.
The 28-year-old was treated for serious injuries "consistent with being struck by a vehicle", British Transport Police (BTP) said, but died at the scene.
Jack Simper, 27, of Hazeldene Road, Birmingham, has been accused of murder, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.

He is due to appear at Coventry Magistrates' Court today (Wednesday 11 March), a BTP spokesperson said.
In a latest statement BTP said: "A man will appear at court this morning (11 March) charged with murder after the death of 28-year-old Dylan Fitzpatrick at Tamworth railway station on Sunday 8 March.
"Jack Simper, 27, of Hazeldene Road, Birmingham, has been charged with Murder, Driving Whilst Disqualified and Driving Without Insurance. He is due to appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court on 11 March.
"Officers were called to Tamworth railway station at around 2.40am on 8 March to reports of an unresponsive man in the station’s car park.
"Paramedics also attended and treated him for serious injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle. Despite their life-saving efforts, the man sadly died from his injuries at the scene.
"He was formally identified as 28-year-old Dylan Fitzpatrick from Birmingham."
