16 pictures capture Smethwick road covered in police tape after man shot in leg and three arrested
A main road through Smethwick was adorned with police tape after a man was shot in the leg in the early hours of the morning (March 11).
Police have arrested three men after a man was shot in the leg on Bearwood Road, Smethwick.
Paramedics say they arrived at the scene on Bearwood Road, Smethwick at around 1.32am and found the 19-year-old man with serious injuries.
He was treated at the scene by two paramedic officers and a MERIT trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic before being transported to hospital.
Pictures taken at the scene this morning shows the road closure as police work to investigate the incident. Anyone with any information that could assist police should call 101 quoting log 180 of 11 March.
