Two detained after drugs bust in Birmingham city centre

Police in Birmingham have detained two men as their work to tackle the supply of drugs in the Southside area of the city continues.

West Midlands Police officers were on patrol on Saturday, March 7 when they stopped a vehicle on Beak Street, Birmingham city centre.

The vehicle was searched, and a large amount of suspected Class A drugs, with an estimated street value of around £2,000, were found hidden inside.
