Police have seized a gun in Walsall and charged a man, aged 22, with firearms offences

A man has been charged with firearms offences after West Midlands Police officers recovered a gun in Walsall.

Police carried out a warrant at an address on Hucker Road, Walsall, yesterday (Friday) morning.

A pistol was seized and a 22-year-old man was arrested, WMP said.

Tadiwa Senah has been charged with possession of a firearm, and possession of ammunition.

The 22-year-old was remanded in custody to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today.

A spokesperson for WMP said: “We're currently running Operation Target, which sees us take a defiant stand against a range of serious and organised crime offences.

“Officers use local intelligence, seize goods, carry out warrants and target offenders as part of Op Target’s ongoing crackdown against serious and organised crime.”
