Walsall man, 59, charged with weapon and assault offences after town centre incident
Police have arrested and charged a man with several offences including common assault and possession of a knife in Walsall town centre.

Thomas Stewart, aged 59, from Walsall has been charged with possession of a bladed article, threats with a bladed article, causing fear/provocation of violence, common assault and drunk and disorderly behaviour.
He was remanded to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Thursday, March 5.
It follows an incident in Walsall town centre on Tuesday, March 3 when a man was arrested by response officers after a man was assaulted on The Bridge.
