Two more teenagers charged with murder after fatal stabbing outside Smethwick mosque
Two teenagers have been charged with murder more than a week after a man was fatally stabbed.
A 16-year-old and a 17-year-old have been charged with the murder of 18-year-old Zeshan Afzal, who died near the Jamia Masjid Mosque on Oldbury Road in Smethwick on Friday, February 20 after being found with serious stab wounds.
The two boys will appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Monday.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Two teenagers have been charged with murder after a teenager was fatally stabbed in Smethwick last Friday.
"The boys aged 16 and 17 and who can’t be named for legal reasons, will appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Monday, March 2.

"Zeshan Afzal, aged 18, was discovered with serious stab wounds following disorder on Oldbury Road just before 9pm on 20 February. He was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.
"A 17-year-old boy charged with murder appeared at court earlier this week, has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance.
"Our enquires are continuing and we urge anyone who has not yet spoken to us to come forward.
