Neo Graham murder trial: Man accused of drive-by shooting in Wolverhampton helped suspect to flee
A man accused of taking part in a drive-by shooting in Wolverhampton helped a suspect to flee the country, the jury has heard.
Twenty-four-year-old victim Neo Graham was fired on in Eastfield Road off Old Heath Road in Eastfields, Wolverhampton, on March 4, 2025 and died at the scene.
On Thursday the jury at Wolverhampton Crown Court was told that detectives tracked suspected gunman Israel May and defendant Koketso Ximba to an address in Wester Hailes, Edinburgh, where they had stayed briefly before taking a taxi to Glasgow where the pair then caught a ferry to Belfast.
Prosecutor Mr Matthew Brook KC said Ximba and May had also swapped coats at some point. When they arrived in the Northern Ireland city they booked into a hotel and paid by cash before parting company shortly afterwards. Ximba left the Holiday Inn via the fire escape and made his way to Dublin where he caught a ferry to Holyhead, Wales, and then to Liverpool where he was arrested in the terminal by officers.
