Three men charged with Birmingham robbery after 'gold chains found in Rubicon can'

Three men have been charged with robbery after 'gold chains were found in a drinks can' in Birmingham.

West Midlands Police recieved reports of a robbery on Winson Green Road, Birmingham, on Tuesday (February 24), where a gold chain was stolen.

Officers from the force's Op Skybridge and Road Crime Team traced a vehicle, which was suspected to have been involved in the incident, on Oxhill Road less than 10 minutes later. 

Three men were arrested on suspicion on robbery - and have since been charged.

Auram Dumitru, 22, has been charged with two robbery offences.

David Dumitru, 27, has been charged with robbery, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.

Filip Gheorghe, 20, has been charged with robbery, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.

All three men were remanded in custody and were due to appear in Birmingham Magistrates Court today (February 26).
