Murder trial: Staffordshire baby died from 'significant head injuries'
Five-week-old Darcy-Leigh Jefferson died from significant head injuries, a jury has been told.
Amy Clarke, aged 34, of Lichfield, and Sean Jefferson, aged 35, of Walsall, are standing trial in Stafford accused of murder after their daughter was found not breathing at an address in Hudson Drive, Burntwood on March 27, 2022.
Giving evidence for the prosecution on Wednesday at Stafford Crown Court, forensic pathologist Dr Charlotte Randall gave the cause of death as head injuries.
