Man charged with shop theft after watch stolen in Dudley
Police have charged a man with shop theft after a smart watch was stolen and a display stand was damaged at the Merry Hill Shopping Centre.

James Maughan, aged 33 and of Wolverhampton, has been charged with theft from a shop after a watch was stolen from Merry Hill Shopping Centre, Dudley, on February 17.
It comes after officers were called to the shopping complex shortly after 6.30pm yesterday (February 17) to reports that a security guard had noticed a man attempting to steal a smart watch and damaging a display stand.
A man was stopped by police.
Maughan was later charged with theft from a shop and criminal damage under £5,000.
He was bailed with conditions to appear before Dudley Magistrates' Court on March 17.
