Man, 19, pleads not guilty to killing 24-year-old woman near Dudley
A 19-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to killing a 24-year-old woman near Dudley.
The body of Maria Saceanu was found at a house in Barncroft Road in Tividale near Dudley at about 2.30am on December 21.
At Wolverhampton Crown Court on Wednesday, defendant Benjamin Day pleaded not guilty to murdering her.
Appearing via video link Day, of Yeadon Close, Redditch, spoke only to confirm his name.
Judge Michael Chambers KC said: "Your case is being adjourned for trial at a later date. You will remain in custody."
Miss Saceanu was confirmed dead after the emergency services were called to the address.
The matter was adjourned at ta date to be fixed.
