Four teenagers arrested after assault of 16-year-old boy in Oldbury

Four teenagers have been arrested after a 16-year-old boy was assaulted in Oldbury last week.

The boy was assaulted on Pound Road in Oldbury at around 3pm on Wednesday, February 11.

Two teenagers aged 16 and 15 and two boys aged 14 were arrested on suspicion of assault.

Police are appealing for information.

They have been released on police bail with strict conditions while West Midlands Police's investigation continues.

Police say they are aware of a video of the incident circulating on social media and would ask people not to post or share it.

"This is distressing for the victim and their family and could jeopardise our investigation," a spokesperson for the force said. 

"We are appealing for anyone with dash-cam footage or any information to get in touch via Live Chat or by calling 101 quoting crime reference 20/144515/26."
