Two arrested and crowbar seized after disorder broke out following crash in Tipton

Two men were arrested after disorder following a two-car collision in Tipton.

Police were called to the crash on Upper Church Lane near Lower Comball at just before 2.25pm yesterday (February 14).

Officers found two people being treated for injuries which are not believed to be life-changing. Both were taken to hospital for further treatment.

Shortly after disorder broke out and officers detained two men, also seizing a crowbar.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "A man, aged 21, arrested on suspicion of threats to kill and possession of an offensive weapon has since been bailed as investigations continue.

"A 56-year-old arrested on suspicion of assault has been given a conditional caution."
